Job summary

Bentley Systems in Dublin, Hybrid – Ireland, is seeking a UX Designer II to shape intuitive experiences across enterprise software. You will partner with product managers and engineers, conduct discovery, translate findings into actionable design, and create wireframes, flows, and prototypes that align with Bentley's design system.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, usability testing, and delivering polished designs for complex workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex enterprise (B2B) software.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, libraries, and design systems.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Prototyping and concept validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Within Bentley, the Design organization plays a critical role in ensuring these solutions are not only powerful but also intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs. Because our products support complex engineering workflows, a deep understanding of our users' goals, challenges, and processes is essential to creating successful experiences.
As a member of the Integration & Interoperability team you will help shape our product portfolio by partnering with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to design intuitive experiences that help users work seamlessly across Bentley and third‑party applications.
Your day-to-day

• Partner with stakeholders to understand user needs and define product direction.
• Plan and conduct user research, interviews, and discovery activities.

• Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers throughout the design process.

• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
  

What You Bring

• Experience designing complex enterprise (B2B) software.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, libraries, and design systems.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Proficiency in prototyping and concept validation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  

Pluses

• Familiarity with the infrastructure field.
• Prior exposure to 3D/CAD.
• Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Computer Science, User Experience, or related field.
