GMC Utilities Group in Ireland is seeking a highly organised Surveyor to perform pre-condition surveys of private properties and public areas prior to construction, and post-condition surveys after reinstatement, ensuring precise documentation for payments and road opening license (ROL) closures.

The role requires meticulous record-keeping, compliance with health and safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A full clean driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Full clean driver’s license required.
• Previous Surveyor experience in utilities or civil engineering.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Conduct pre-condition surveys of private properties before construction.
• Survey roads, footpaths and infrastructure before works begin.
• Confirm reinstatement conditions and footprint requirements.
• Conduct post-reinstatement surveys for payments and ROL closures.
• Document historic locations andsnags to support ROL closures.
• Maintain records and reports ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
