Job summary

Prochem Engineering is seeking an experienced Utilities Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute engineering projects supporting site utilities and infrastructure in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will bring technical project support experience on utility systems, with strong ability to coordinate contractors and multiple projects while ensuring

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar discipline).
  • Minimum 5+ years’ engineering experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with purified water, WFI, clean steam, process air, HVAC, plant steam, chilled water.
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors and multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engineering projects related to utilities and facility infrastructure across the site.
  • Lead upgrades, ensuring compliance with GMP and contamination control standards.
  • Develop project scopes, technical specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure projects comply with EHS, GMP, and site engineering standards.
  • Perform risk assessments, design reviews, and change control documentation.
  • Support commissioning, qualification, and handover of completed systems.
  • Provide technical support for utilities systems and site infrastructure as required.
