Job summary

Carbery Group is seeking a Utilities Specialist to support safe, reliable operation of utility systems across our sites. You will monitor infrastructure, coordinate maintenance, respond to issues, and maintain records to ensure uninterrupted services.

Role requires a degree in engineering or related field, knowledge of utility systems, and experience with CMMS/ERP tools. Join a global team delivering sustainable food and ingredient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Experience in utilities/plant operations and facilities management.
• Knowledge of potable water, steam, HVAC, compressed air and wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safe, reliable operation of utility systems.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs of infrastructure.
• Investigate issues and implement corrective actions to restore service.
• Maintain records of inspections, outages, and service requests.
• Analyze consumption to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and providers to schedule work.
• Support capital projects from planning to commissioning.
• Review invoices and performance metrics for accuracy.
• Prepare reports and operational procedures.
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours support.
• Promote continuous improvement for system reliability.
