Job summary

Carbery Group is seeking a Utilities Specialist to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient utility systems. You will monitor infrastructure, coordinate maintenance, and collaborate with service providers to minimize disruptions.

Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement in energy and environmental performance. Strong teamwork and problem-solving are essential in this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting utility operations or facilities maintenance.
  • Knowledge of potable water, steam, HVAC, compressed air and wastewater systems.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and asset management practices.
  • Understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with CMMS/ERP and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to make timely decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the performance and availability of utility systems and services.
  • Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and repairs of utility infrastructure and equipment.
  • Investigate utility-related issues and implement corrective actions to restore service.
  • Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, outages, and service requests.
  • Analyze utility consumption and identify efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and utility providers to schedule work.
  • Support capital projects through planning, testing and commissioning.
