Job summary

Pfizer is seeking an experienced Utilities & Energy Engineer to support operation, optimisation, commissioning and continuous improvement of site utility systems at our Ireland site. The role focuses on reliable operation of chilled water, steam, condensate, compressed air, HVAC and critical utilities, with energy performance embedded in lifecycle management.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Energy or Chemical Engineering.
Typically 3–5+ years in industrial utilities, facilities or energy engineering.
Strong knowledge of industrial utility systems and associated equipment.
Experience delivering CAPEX and OPEX engineering projects.
Experience commissioning industrial equipment and utility systems.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for site utility systems to optimise energy use and reliability.
Monitor performance, identify improvements, and lead troubleshooting for energy issues.
Lead energy projects from concept to handover, including design reviews and FAT/SAT.
Develop scopes, technical specs and equipment requirements.
Review contractor designs, drawings and vendor documentation.
Support qualification activities and change control processes.
