Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in tax, accounting, or finance within public accounting, financial services, or asset management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • U.S. tax experience and strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating across remote teams and time zones.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client service skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales and property tax returns, refund claims, and audit support.
  • Complete FBAR filings and ASC 740 tax position and liability analyses.
  • Monitor U.S. trade or business income risk and support mitigation efforts with Compliance and Risk teams.
  • Prepare U.S. withholding documentation, FATCA/CRS certifications, and registrations.
  • Assess tax implications of corporate actions and advise relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage period-end U.S. withholding tax close and reporting.
  • Support tax process improvement, automation, reporting, and analysis.
