Job summary

Ernst & Young is seeking a Manager in UKI Technology Consulting – Supply Chain & Operations to help design, implement, and manage complex supply chain projects in Ireland. You will work within the SC&O team to strengthen client relationships and deliver value across initiatives that improve operations and digital capabilities.

You will engage with stakeholders to define requirements, lead engineering activities, and ensure quality and timely delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain and operations consulting.
• Experience with value stream mapping and process improvement.
• Knowledge of digital transformation solutions and their delivery in industry contexts.
• Experience collaborating with clients across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Customer relations – support stakeholders in understanding and meeting expectations.
• Project execution – own engineering activities across work packages and manage costs, schedule and quality.
• Project management – provide stakeholders with resource, progress and risk information.

The Team and the opportunity

The Manager is a member of the Technology Consulting team, which undertakes the design, implementation and commissioning of projects/services. This role is a member of the EY -Technology Consulting team & could be supporting on one or (in some cases) more projects.

You will play a key role in supporting the development and strengthen existing client relationships and help our clients, who are leaders in the Technology Consulting industry, navigate the complex issues facing their business. Your key responsibilities

• Customer Relations – support the relevant stakeholders in understanding, managing, and achieving customer expectations.
• Project Execution – take ownership of the Engineering activities on all allocated work packages and proactively utilize methodologies, resources, and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard.
• Project Management – provide the necessary information to relevant stakeholders & ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress, and areas of risk for the allocated work.
• Communications – ensure that team members, inclusive of any third parties, are provided with all necessary and relevant information – details of scope, schedule, technical specifications, and quality standards – to effectively deliver their allotted work.
• Scope control – fully understand the scope of work within their portfolio, ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the relevant Lead Engineer is fully informed, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
• Quality control – ensure that all Engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved.

Skills and attributes for success

5+ years of relevant experience in the below -

• Worked on value stream mapping
• Experience on any of the digital transformation solutions
• Experience in systems validation and working in a GMP environment
• Be able to collaborate at all levels and be client focused
