Job summary

EY Ireland seeks a Senior Manager in Technology Consulting – Supply Chain & Operations to lead digital transformation initiatives in Life Sciences and adjacent industries. You will drive growth, manage complex programmes from strategy through execution, and collaborate with data, AI and strategy teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Proven experience leading digital transformation programmes in Life Sciences or regulated manufacturing.
• Strong grasp of Digital Lean, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

• Knowledge of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions.

The Team and the opportunity

The Senior Manager is a member of the Technology Consulting team, which undertakes the design, implementation and commissioning of projects/services. This role is a member of the EY -Technology Consulting team & could be supporting on one or (in some cases) more projects.

You will play a key role in supporting the development and strengthen existing client relationships and help our clients, who are leaders in the Technology Consulting industry, navigate the complex issues facing their business. As part of this growing team, you will also get to help shape the innovative culture that makes EY such a great place to work.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the growth and delivery of EY Ireland's Digital Factory and advanced manufacturing consulting services, with an initial focus on Life Sciences and expansion into adjacent industries.
• Drive business development, build a strong sales pipeline, and achieve revenue and growth targets through new and existing client relationships.
• Develop strategic partnerships with digital technology providers and industry specialists to enhance service offerings and client solutions.
• Lead and deliver complex digital transformation and operational excellence programmes from strategy through execution.
• Collaborate across EY service lines including Data & Analytics, AI, Cyber Security, and Strategy & Transactions to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing consulting team, supporting recruitment, coaching, and career development.
• Support global account growth and work with international EY teams to identify and deliver cross-border opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery, client satisfaction, and strong commercial performance against agreed KPIs.

Skills and attributes for success

8+ years of relevant experience in the below –

• Proven experience leading digital transformation programmes within Life Sciences, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical devices, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of Digital Lean principles, operational excellence, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping and process optimisation initiatives.
• Experience implementing or advising on digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 solutions.
• Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments and systems validation requirements.
• Strong business development and stakeholder management skills with a track record of growing client relationships and winning new business.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and technology partners.
• Commercially focused, client-centric mindset with strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
