Job summary

EY Ireland is seeking an SAP Reporting – Senior Manager to lead analytics initiatives and drive what matters for clients’ business outcomes. You will design and implement analytics solutions, manage SAP Embedded Analytics projects, and mentor teams across SAP technologies including CDS, Fiori, and SAC.

The role offers hybrid working from Dublin and exposure to cutting-edge technologies, with collaboration across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SAP analytics technologies, with focus on SAP Datasphere, HANA Cloud Modelling, BW4HANA, SAC, Embedded Analytics, and S/4HANA processes.
• Proficiency in frontend tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and ETL processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an SAP Reporting Lead – Manager, you will

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Manage SAP Embedded Analytics projects, including the development of Core Data Services (CDS) and Fiori applications, ensuring adherence to S/4HANA business processes.
• Develop and optimize data models in SAP HANA Cloud and SAP BW4HANA to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Utilize SAP Datasphere to integrate and manage data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports in SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide expertise in SAP analytics technologies, staying updated with the latest trends and advancements.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to enhance their understanding of analytics tools and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to analytics solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices within the analytics team.

To qualify for this role, you should have

• A third level qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or relevant experience related to the position
• 10+ years of experience in SAP analytics technologies, with a strong focus on SAP Datasphere, SAP HANA Cloud Modelling, SAP BW4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Embedded Analytics, and S/4HANA business processes.
• Proficiency in frontend tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and ETL processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP Datasphere and basic knowledge of SAP Business data cloud and Azure Databricks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with senior-level clients
• Experience in project management and leading analytics initiatives is a plus.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Proven experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and Consilation projects
• Relevant SAP certifications in analytics tools and technology
• Demonstrated experience with non-SAP analytics platforms, and cloud-based analytics solutions, including data integration techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and / or SQL for data analysis, modeling and automation tasks
