Job summary

Affidea UK & Ireland is expanding its Dublin-based Finance team and seeks an experienced accountant to manage UK-registered entities. The role covers financial statements, general ledger, reporting, payroll, and compliance across UK tax requirements.

Ideal candidates are fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3–5 years in IFRS or group environments, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in Sage Intacct/QuickBooks. Expect multi-entity and multi-currency responsibilities as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with UK GAAP/IFRS experience and UK tax knowledge.
• Experience with multi-entity UK registered companies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Maintain general ledger and month-end / year-end close processes.
• Produce management reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Record AP/AR and bank reconciliations; manage invoicing and collections.
• Lead payroll processes including PAYE and pensions; ensure HMRC compliance.
