Job summary

AbbVie in Westport, Ireland, is seeking an experienced EHS Operator to support daily manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with safety, cGMP, and quality standards. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold rigorous documentation practices.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, gowning supply management, monitoring Unit Dose Filling, aseptic practices, and adherence to SOPs. The role requires 2–3 years in a pharmaceutical environment and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Manufacturing/cleanroom experience preferred.
• Good computer skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist AbbVie in achieving EHS goals by working safely and observing all general plant and departmental safety policies.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning as per Department procedures.
• Top up gown/scrub supplies.
• Monitor the Unit Dose Filling area each shift.
• Adhere to good documentation standards when completing records.
• Maintain aseptic practices within Grade B environment.
• Ensure triple cleans are available prior to return from Shutdown.
• Complete duties assigned by the Manager/Line lead per SOPs and cGMP.
• Stay current with SOPs and training requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Top up of gown / scrub supplies
• Perform Monitoring of the Unit Dose Filling area every shift
• Adhering to good documentation standards when completing documentation
• Adhere to good aseptic practices within Grade B environment
• Triple Cleans availability prior to return from Shutdown.
• Perform all assigned duties by the Manager/Line lead in accordance with departmental SOP’s and cGMP
• Remain current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised and new SOP’s relating to the job and the department.
• Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience 2-3 years working in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Manufacturing/ Cleanroom experience preferable
• Good computer skills
