Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Westport, Ireland seeks a dedicated professional to help achieve environmental health and safety goals within a pharmaceutical setting.

The role involves safe operations, strict adherence to SOPs and cGMP, and daily to monthly cleaning and monitoring of critical manufacturing areas. The successful candidate will support aseptic practices in a Grade B environment, maintain documentation, and stay current with required cGMP and safety training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmaceutical environment (2-3 years)
• Manufacturing/ Cleanroom experience preferable
• A team player

Responsibilities

• Assist AbbVie in achieving EHS goals by working safely and observing all general plant and departmental safety policies.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning as per department procedures
• Top up gown/scrub supplies
• Monitor the Unit Dose Filling area every shift
• Adhere to good documentation standards when completing documentation
• Adhere to good aseptic practices within Grade B environment
• Ensure triple cleans are available prior to return from shutdown
• Perform duties assigned by the Manager/Line lead in line with SOPs and cGMP
• Stay current on procedures by reviewing current, revised and new SOPs
• Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

• Assist Abbvie in achieving EHS goals by working safely & observing all general plant and departmental safety policies.
• Perform Daily, weekly and monthly clean as per Department procedures
• Top up of gown / scrub supplies
• Perform Monitoring of the Unit Dose Filling area every shift
• Adhering to good documentation standards when completing documentation
• Adhere to good aseptic practices within Grade B environment
• Triple Cleans availability prior to return from Shutdown.
• Perform all assigned duties by the Manager/Line lead in accordance with departmental SOP’s and cGMP
• Remain current on proper procedures by reviewing current, revised and new SOP’s relating to the job and the department.
• Complete and remain current with all required cGMP and safety training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience 2-3 years working in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Manufacturing/ Cleanroom experience preferable
• A team player
