Job summary

AbbVie is hiring a Manufacturing Technician at its Westport site to support Unit Dose production through sterilisation and equipment readiness. You will perform filter, bulk, and autoclave sterilisation, CIP/SIP, and ensure correct transfer of solutions to UD filling.

You will maintain equipment to a high standard while safeguarding aseptic practices and GMP-compliant documentation in a cleanroom environment, working with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of pharma manufacturing experience.
• Manufacturing/cleanroom experience preferable.
• Ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Filter sterilisation of Unit Dose Batches.
• Bulk heat sterilisation of Unit Dose Batches.
• Autoclave sterilisation of equipment.
• Equipment CIP and SIP.
• Solution transfer to UD Filling.
• Integrity testing of product filters/vent filters.
• Prepare components and equipment for batch manufacture.
• Maintenance of equipment to a high standard.
• Preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Adhere to GMP documentation standards.
• Adhere to aseptic practices.
