University College Dublin invites applications for a temporary post of a UCDVO Programme Assistant within UCD Global. The role provides administrative and programme quality support for UCDVO’s volunteering and global citizenship programmes, helping to deliver the new five-year strategic plan.
The successful candidate will work with staff and volunteers, coordinate logistics, maintain records, and assist with stakeholder communications. Closing date: 2026-09-30.
UCD Global steers and guides the global strategies of the university, providing expert leadership in partnerships and engagement, international student recruitment and support, inbound and outbound staff and student mobility, and the international elements of the student experience. Leveraging relationships with external stakeholders, UCD Global works at the interface of the university and the international community. It supports university leaders to shape policy, works with Colleges/Schools and other support units to ensure delivery, and liaises with students and staff to measure success and impact.
Headquartered in Dublin, UCD Global also directs and manages the university's network of Global Centres, which serve as hubs of UCD activity in North America, China, South Asia, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
UCD Volunteers Overseas is located within UCD Global and provides opportunities for students, staff, faculty and alumni to engage in international volunteering and global citizenship education programmes. Volunteers engage in volunteering overseas/and/or virtually for four weeks each year to work on a broad range of community development projects carried out in partnership with NGOs, academic institutions and community groups.
The UCDVO Programme Assistant will provide a high level of administrative and programme quality support for UCDVO's volunteering and global citizenship programmes and contribute to the success of the new five year strategic plan.
