The Doctoral Institute at University College Cork invites applications for apart-time Research Assistantto support theSATLE PhD Careers Project, an innovative initiative funded through the Strategic Alignment of Teaching and Learning Enhancement (SATLE) programme. The successful candidate will contribute to research and planning that enhances doctoral career development and informs evidence-based approaches to supporting PhD researchers' career pathways.

The Research Assistant will assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of research activities, including the collection, analysis and documentation of qualitative and quantitative data. The role involves preparing research reports, developing data collection tools, communicating project progress, project planning, and contributing to the dissemination of findings while working collaboratively within the Doctoral Institute research team.

This is a9-month, 0.36 FTE appointment (approximately 13 hours per week)based within the Doctoral Institute at UCC, offering an excellent opportunity for a PhD student or graduate with strong organisational, analytical and communication skills to contribute to a high-impact educational research project.

Salary:**36% of**€34,129 - €44,311 p.a (IUA RA Salary Scale)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
