Job summary

Swissport Dublin Airport is seeking a Trucking Foreman to bridge warehouse and logistics, coordinating yard movements and cross-border links. You will work alongside foremen and warehouse teams, on a 4-on, 4-off pattern with 12-hour shifts, ensuring precise execution of plans. Applicants must reside in Ireland; the role offers overtime opportunities and a pivotal ground-based leadership position within Ireland’s cargo network.

Qualifications

• Full, valid HGV license (C+E) with an up-to-date CPC card.
• Proven experience in yard foreman duties, shunting, or heavy goods driving.

Responsibilities

• Yard management: oversee movement of trailers between loading bays and parking areas.
• Network coordination with sister depots in London Heathrow and Manchester to align schedules.
• Loading and offloading supervision to ensure safe handling of freight.
• Freight location and just-in-time loading for departures.
• Local operations: conduct Dublin-area collections and deliveries as required.
• Provide real-time updates on trailer status and bay availability to Trucking Office staff.
• Maintain safety and compliance with aviation security and health and safety standards.
