Job summary

Kilsaran is seeking a HIAB Crane HGV Driver for the Dunboyne, Co. Meath area to support our paving and walling operations and deliveries across Ireland and the UK. The role requires safe driving, crane operation when required, and adherence to Tachograph and CPC regulations.

Responsibilities include collections, deliveries, and on-site safety, with training provided for HIAB operation. Competitive hourly rate and benefits are offered with opportunities for overtime and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HGV driving experience with rigid or articulated trucks.
• HIAB training or willingness to learn to operate the HIAB crane.
• Valid CPC Driver qualification and tachograph card.
• Clean, valid driving licence and Safe Pass.

Responsibilities

• Complete all collections and deposits as scheduled to ensure effective service to customers and facilities.
• Ensure safe delivery on arrival and respect customer property; consult with customer/manager if in doubt.
• Complete a delivery check with the customer and obtain a signature.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Drive within Tachograph Law and Driver Hour Limits.
• Keep trucks clean and cab tidy; report incidents per procedure.
• Provide yard support as required by Location Manager.
• Safely operate the HIAB Crane to load/offload deliveries.

Our Paving & Walling business is a high-performance and profitable business unit supporting both our Irish and UK-based customers. With best-in-class expertise and experience, underpinned by our technologically advanced facilities, we manufacture and retail a complete range of premium quality paving and walling products. In addition to this, we are also hiring for HGV Drivers for our masonry block deliveries in the greater Dublin area.

Responsibilities:

• Complete all collections and deposits as scheduled to ensure effective and efficient service to all customers and facilities.
• Ensure that, on arrival, the delivery is safe to make and respect the customer's property; if in doubt, consult with the customer and/or local Manager or Transport Manager.
• Complete a check of the delivery with the customer and obtain a signature.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintenance checks.
• Drive within the Tachograph Law and Driver Hour Limits.
• Clean trucks as scheduled and/or required. Maintain the cleanliness of the cab.
• Report any incidents or accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company's accident reporting procedure.
• Provide support in the yard as required by the Location Manager.
• Safely and effectively operate the HIAB Crane to load/offload deliveries

Skills Required:

• Preferably a minimum of 3 years' HGV driving experience driving rigid or articulated trucks.
• HIAB experience is a bonus, but training will be provided to individuals who are interested in learning how to operate the HIAB Crane.
• Clean, relevant Driver's Licence.
• Up-to-date CPC Driver qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Safe Pass.
