Job summary

Engage People Recruitment is assisting a leading and rapidly growing organisation in Dublin to hire a Treasury Assistant on a permanent basis. This role sits in the finance team and focuses on cash management, payments, and forecasting.

The successful candidate will have 1+ year treasury or finance experience, strong Excel skills, and a degree in Finance or Accounting. Training and progression are available in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3rd level degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 1+ year's treasury, banking or relevant finance experience is advantageous.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Good understanding of financial concepts and cash forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Treasury or accounting qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and progress payments through banking platforms.
• Monitor and report daily cash balances.
• Prepare and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, payroll and accounting on cash forecasting.
• Support FX and money market transactions.
• Assist with bank account openings, mandates and maintenance.
• Support AML/KYC requirements with banking partners.
• Prepare treasury reports and reconciliations.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation projects.
