AIG Europe S.A. (Ireland branch) seeks a claims professional to handle and investigate complex Travel, Personal Accident, Cancer and Income Protection claims, while developing technical and soft skills for accurate assessment and reserving.

You will promote best-practice standards and fraud controls within the team and across the book of business. The role requires strong communication, organisation and a collaborative approach as you support the Team Manager, disseminate learnings, and maintain

Responsibilities

• Handle and investigate complex claims for Travel, Personal Accident, Cancer and Income Protection.
• Develop and maintain technical and soft skills to enable accurate assessment and reserving of complex claims.
• Promote compliance with best practice for all aspects of claims assessment across Leisure, Voluntary Employees Benefits, and Corporate policies.
• Provide support to Team Manager and act as referral point for colleagues.
• Monitor market/industry practices in claims handling and update the team.
• Build relationships with internal and external customers as a point of referral.
• Identify and review suspect/fraudulent claims and handle in line with fraud guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining procedural guides and training of staff.
• Lead by example in Treating Customer Fairly & Fraud Management.
