Job summary

Barden is assisting a Dublin-based professional services firm to hire a Transfer Pricing Manager. You will own day‑to‑day client work across advisory, documentation, and controversy, with senior colleagues to sharpen your technical judgement.

You will work with Irish and multinational clients, collaborating with tax colleagues and international teams on cross-border projects. Mentors provide support as you take on real responsibility and growth opportunities in transfer pricing.

Qualifications

• Transfer pricing experience at Manager level or readiness to step into it.
• Strong working knowledge of OECD, EU, and IRS transfer pricing rules.
• Experience with economic analysis databases.
• Dispute resolution experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead transfer pricing projects from planning through to compliance and audit defence.
• Conduct functional analysis interviews and perform economic analyses.
• Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation.
• Support clients through APAs and MAPs.
• Help clients apply their transfer pricing policies in practice.
• Collaborate with international teams on cross-border advisory projects.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development.

This is a chance to take ownership of day-to-day client work across advisory, documentation, and controversy, with senior colleagues on hand to sharpen your technical judgement.

You will work with Irish and multinational clients, alongside direct and indirect tax colleagues, and with international teams on cross-border projects. The mix of clients, markets, and dispute work is broader than most Manager roles offer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead transfer pricing projects from planning and policy design through to compliance and audit defence.
• Run functional analysis interviews and carry out economic analyses.
• Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation.
• Support clients through interventions, Advance Pricing Agreements, and Mutual Agreement Procedures.
• Help clients apply their transfer pricing policies in practice.
• Work with international colleagues on cross-border advisory projects.
• Mentor junior team members and support business development.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Transfer pricing experience at Manager level, or ready to step up into it.
• Strong working knowledge of OECD, EU, and IRS transfer pricing rules.
• Experience with economic analysis databases.
• Dispute resolution experience, including APA and MAP work, is a plus.
• Strong communicator and client relationship builder who can manage projects, budgets, and people.
