Job summary

Eason in Galway is seeking a Trainee Store Manager to develop hands-on across store operations, commercial performance, and people leadership. You will work closely with the Dual Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to gain experience and move into management.

This 40-hour-per-week role operates on a 5/7 roster across our Galway stores, with a focus on customer service, stock control, merchandising and compliance.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in retail.

Responsibilities

• Support the store management team in delivering store KPIs across sales and productivity.
• Assist in the day-to-day running of the store to ensure smooth operations.
• Take responsibility for specific operational areas as delegated.
• Support effective stock management, merchandising and compliance standards.
• Adhere to health and safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and lead by example on the shop floor.
• Monitor store performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Take ownership of personal development and actively engage in training opportunities.
