Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Ireland is seeking a Trainee Product Technologist to support product development and quality assurance across fit, grading, sizing and compliance. You’ll work with Buying teams and suppliers to learn our quality systems and ensure products meet GPSR requirements.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in fibres, fabrics and sustainability, develop supplier relationships, and help drive continuous improvement through organised workload management and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Interest in product development, quality systems, and supplier communications.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support product development by learning fit, grading, sizing, and risk assessment.
• Assist fit sessions, product reviews, testing approvals, and compliance.
• Learn fibres, fabrics, materials, sustainability, and factory processes.
• Develop supplier communication and relationships; learn Primark quality systems.
• Support workload, admin tasks, KPI delivery, standardisation and continuous improvement.
• Communicate with Buying teams and suppliers to gather info and support QA decisions.
