Job summary

Flipdish is looking for a hands-on trainee to join our Finance team in Ireland. You’ll support AP and AR, reconciliations, month-end, and reporting across multiple entities, with a view to ACA/ACCA/CIMA training and increasing responsibility.

This hub model blends office days (2 per week from our Sandyford office) with home working. You’ll work with Finance and business stakeholders to build solid financial processes, learn quickly, ask questions, and help drive accurate, well-documented

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field; strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Eager to commence or currently pursuing ACA/ACCA/CIMA training.
• Strong organization, communication, and aspiring to learn quickly within a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support core AP and AR processes, including invoice processing, supplier/customer queries, payments, and reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Assist with month-end close, audit prep, journals, schedules, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations with clear documentation.
• Investigate reconciling items and work with stakeholders to improve financial information and recurring processes.
