Overview

Our client is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join their medium sized practice in Dublin. This is a full-time training contract designed for a graduate with a 2.1 or higher in a Level 8 degree who is looking to pursue the ACA qualification. The successful Trainee Accountant will gain exposure across audit, bookkeeping, tax, and general accounts preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in audits of small companies
• Support with general bookkeeping duties
• Prepare tax returns in line with compliance deadlines
• Help with the preparation of annual accounts for a range of clients
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as required
• Attend training sessions and learn directly from FAE students and senior staff

Requirements

• Level 8 degree (minimum 2.1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Intention to pursue ACA qualification (training contract provided)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work well as part of a team
