DJH is looking for a Trainee Accountant in Dublin starting August 2027. This apprenticeship role sits in the Early Careers department and offers a fully funded training package to help you progress your AAT studies.

You’ll join a hybrid, flexible working environment with a strong emphasis on development and ownership of your learning plan. After induction, you’ll follow a personal development plan, work with a talented team, and build relationships with clients while delivering value on year-end

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 6 or above.
• On track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above.
• Willing to learn and develop through funded training.

Responsabilités

• Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver
• Preparing year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients
• Calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities, whilst coming up with tax planning ideas
• Shadowing, questioning, and learning to help you achieve your ambitions and be victorious in your AAT studies
• Building long‑lasting relationships with clients and wowing them daily

After a proper induction to the business, a personal development plan will be drawn up for you. It will outline each of the steps you’ll need to take to realise your ambitions and goals of becoming a fully‑fledged Accountant. Your typical day as a Trainee Accountant will involve:

• Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver
