Job summary

Smyths Toys is hiring Sales Assistants for our Smyths Toys Superstores in Ireland. This is a temporary contract with hourly pay of €14.25 for workers over 20 and €13.00 for those under 20. You will join a fast-paced team delivering great customer service and helping customers find toys across categories.

Ideal candidates have retail interest in Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming or Backdoor/Warehouse, and a flexible attitude as stores are open 7 days a week. Full training provided.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming or Backdoor/Warehouse is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
