Job summary

Smyths Toys is hiring Sales Assistants on a temporary contract in our Ireland stores. Earn €14.25 per hour for workers over 20 and €13.00 per hour for under 20. Join a team of superheroes delivering high levels of customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will handle tills, price changes, stock and merchandising, and learn about our products to help customers. Availability to work 7 days a week is preferred as our stores are open every day.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in Outdoor/Bikes, Nursery, Software & Gaming, or Backdoor/Warehouse is desirable.
• Flexible to work across store hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Work as part of a fast paced and dynamic team
• Keep the store clean and tidy
• Pack shelves and merchandise
• Work delivery and complete price changes
• Work on the tills
• Learn about and keep up to date with our products in order to help customers
