The ideal candidate has METAL toolmaking experience and can set up and operate CNC, PLC and robotic equipment in a modern, automated environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified toolmaker with metal manufacturing experience.
• Experience setting up tooling and operating CNC/PLC/robotic equipment.
• Ability to work day/evening/night shifts Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling and tooling projects for stainless steel and aluminium products.
• Maintain, repair and continuously improve all tools.
• Fix breakdowns and perform preventative maintenance.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Toolmaker on behalf of our growing client, based in Co Westmeath. Our client manufactures innovative products for customers worldwide and has a world-class manufacturing operation with significant investment in automation, technology, and advanced production processes.

They need someone with previous METAL toolmaking experience who can set and operate CNC, PLC and robotic equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting up tooling and tooling projects for work with stainless steel and aluminium products
• Maintaining, repairing and continuous improvement on all tools
• Fix breakdowns and carry our preventative maintenance

Minimum requirements

• Qualified toolmaker
• Previous experience in a metal manufacturing environment
• Ability to operate on rotating shifts – day, evening, night on a Monday to Friday basis
• Be living in Westmeath or surrounding areas with own transport
