Job summary

Shanire Limited in Ireland seeks an experienced tiler to join our on-site team at Marshallrath, Dunleer, Co. Louth. The role covers reading drawings, preparing surfaces, laying and finishing ceramic, porcelain and stone tiles, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will work 39 hours per week on a fulltime/contract basis with immediate start and support with accommodation near the site. 1–2 years’ experience is preferred and candidates should be able to work independently or as

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read drawings, set out work accurately and complete work to a high standard.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Measure and set out tiling work accurately.
• Inspect and prepare floor and wall surfaces, including cleaning and levelling as required.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles where required.
• Measure, cut, lay and fix ceramic, porcelain, stone and other specified floor and wall tiles.
• Apply adhesives, grout and sealants and complete all finishing work to the required quality standard.
• Work to agreed quality and productivity targets.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and orderly condition.
• Comply with all site health and safety requirements.
• Work effectively with other trades and site management.

Key Responsibilities
