Job summary

Moog is hiring for an Operator-2 at our Carrigaline, Ireland site. The role reports to the Lead, PTH Work Center and is onsite in Carrigaline. You will operate assembly equipment, prepare components, run PCB cleaning/baking, and perform measurements and documentation to support production objectives.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant assembly experience, attention to detail, and strong time management. Experience with IPC standards and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and their applications.

For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.**Job Title**:Operator-2**Reporting To:**Lead, PTH Work Center**Work Schedule:**Onsite – Carrigaline, IESummary of Function and Specific Responsibilities:The role reports to the PCB Production Supervisor, will support normal production activities as required.Specific Responsibilities: • Operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks. • Prepare components for manual assembly • Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment • Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners • Perform manual assembly of PCB’s and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures, process procedures, assembly drawings and SOP’s • Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components. • Application of adhesives and conformal coatings. • Prototype assembly work under engineering control. • Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required. • Perform operator machine maintenance as specified. • Inspect and rework PCB’s and components as per established criteria. • Typical other items used will be specified safety equipment worn during maintenance. • Completion of all necessary production related documentation. • Use our ERP system to transact Work orders. • Adherence to all necessary requirements relating to personal tool maintenance, anti-static precaution, safety and housekeeping.Specific equipment training will be provided.Preferable Qualifications & Skills: • Knowledge of IPC7711/IPC7721 and IPC J-Standard and there application Work Environment: • The role may involve standing or sitting for extended periods of time, fine dexterity tasks, manual handling activities, working with VDU/DSE, repetitive movements, working with controlled chemicals.
