Job summary

PFH Technology is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support quality assurance across enterprise applications. You will lead test planning, execution, defect management, automation and validation activities, ensuring solutions meet business and quality requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Based in Ireland's Leinster region, you will collaborate with agile teams, write Playwright tests, manage test data, and validate changes with UAT and release readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in software testing across legacy and modern technologies.
• Experience across medium and large-scale projects.
• Good experience with security aspects of public-facing websites.
• Proven track record in testing enterprise-level software solutions.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute functionality, integration, system and UAT testing.
• Develop, manage and execute automated and manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, log, track and manage defects and test outcomes through Azure DevOps.
• Validate that system changes meet business requirements and support regression testing.

Job description

PFH Technology is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support quality assurance activities across enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for test planning, execution, defect management, automation and validation activities while ensuring software solutions meet business and quality requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in software testing with exposure to legacy and modern technologies.
• Experience across medium and large-scale projects.
• Good experience with security aspects of public-facing websites.
• Proven track record in testing enterprise-level software solutions.
• Relevant software testing certification such as ISTQB or equivalent is preferred.

Key Experience / Competencies / Skillsets

• Demonstrable experience testing complex, custom-built full stack web applications in .NET.
• Proven experience in Test Data Management.
• Experience writing Playwright automated tests.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for automated/manual test creation, management and execution, defect tracking and collaboration with development teams.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly communicate defects, risks and quality concerns to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with development teams in Agile environments.
• SQL knowledge with the ability to run common queries and update data.
• Plan and execute functionality, integration, system and UAT testing.
• Develop, manage and execute automated and manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Test planning, coordination and execution.
• Identify, log, track and manage defects and test outcomes through Azure DevOps while working closely with development teams.
• Validate that system changes meet business requirements.
• Support regression testing and release validation.
• Contribute to test documentation and continuous test process improvement.
