Ascension in Dublin 15 is seeking a Temperature Mapping & Calibration Technician to join the Service team. This entry-level role offers full training and hands-on experience with a range of equipment at customer sites across Ireland.

You will learn temperature mapping and calibration procedures, document findings, and support quality systems while travelling nationwide. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential, with potential for a permanent position after the 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• No specific tertiary qualification required; leaving certificate or equivalent considered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Willingness to travel nationwide across Ireland.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a regulated, technical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform temperature mapping on equipment (lab refrigerators, freezers, incubators, ovens, climatic chambers).
• Conduct on-site and in-house mapping activities; set up and operate mapping equipment.
• Carry out temperature calibration of customer equipment per procedures.
• Prepare accurate mapping reports and calibration documentation.
• Maintain records per quality systems and SOPs.
