Job summary

Enet is seeking a Field Engineer to perform reactive maintenance across telecoms and network infrastructure in the Leinster region. You will manage fault tickets, investigate faults, and perform site surveys to support deployments and upgrades.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, a strong customer focus, and the ability to travel as needed. Enet provides training and benefits, and encourages a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Telecommunications Field Engineer.
• Third level qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working on telecoms tower infrastructure and reactive fault resolution.
• Hands‑on experience with mobile network equipment, including base stations, microwave radio and DC systems.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and network schematics, and to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of field activities, ensuring safety and high standards.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site hardware, transmission and network faults.
• Perform site surveys and assist with deployments, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Manage fault tickets and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with logistics, engineering, and project teams to meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Travel within Leinster region and nationally as required.
