Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment's client, a leading global property and facilities services organisation, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of a technical support team and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. You will plan workloads, coordinate resources, and liaise with technical leaders and stakeholders while coaching and developing the team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years' relevant technical, engineering, facilities or operational experience.
• Experience in supervisory, team leader or senior technical position.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the technical support team.
• Plan, allocate and monitor workloads, deadlines and project deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between technical leaders, facilities teams and internal and external stakeholders.
• Forecast workload requirements and coordinate resources accordingly.
• Work with senior stakeholders to resolve conflicting priorities and achieve business objectives.
• Provide coaching and support to team members to develop technical and operational capability.
• Use your experience to solve complex operational and technical challenges.
• Contribute to the development of new processes, standards and operational plans.
• Communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Influence decision-making when priorities differ.
