Job Summary
The successful candidate will take on responsibilities in the technical team carrying out technical records reviews during asset acquisitions, leases and parts trading. EirTrade, as a worldwide material and service provider, trades internationally as part of its regular day to day activities. This role is an excellent opportunity to become an expert in the complex and evolving aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Review of aircraft and engine records during asset acquisitions, sales or leases to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Preparation of component trace packs including back to birth files for each life limited part or component.
- Research and prepare the commercial trace of aircraft and engine components & organize the hard/electronic copy documents.
- Review customer supplied documentation for accuracy and manage communication with sales team and end user to close out open issues.
- Document and track the open items list (OIL) and prepare a weekly report for senior management on open technical projects.
- Development of tools to improve the analysis of records and tracking of projects.
- Physical inspection of parts when requested by the operations team.
- Contact with respective Operators, OEM’s and customers as required.
- Explain technical information clearly via presentations and written technical reports.
- Daily running of technical email and answering daily technical requests.
- Adhere to EirTrade performance pillars on a day-to-day basis.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years’ experience in Aircraft/Engine Technical Records within a airline, lessor or technical service provider.
- Engineering Degree or Aircraft Maintenance License.
- Some Experience in Technical records, Chapter 05 life limits, LLP BTB trace, aircraft status reports and statements. Experience with tear down assets and records a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of current commercial aircraft and engines and airworthiness regulations EASA/FAA/UK CAA
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks taking ownership end to end.
- Self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a small entrepreneurial team.
- Able to apply integrity and good practice across all activities and initiatives.
- Strong PC skills, particularly excel, PDF and word.
