Osborne - Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Technical Manager for a fast-paced, automated packaging environment in Ireland. You will lead maintenance, drive reliability across multi-line operations, and develop a high-performing team across shifts.

Responsibilities include budgeting, capital project delivery, RCA, and data-driven improvements using CMMS, Excel, Power BI, and MES tools. A strong engineering background and experience with high-speed packaging systems are essential.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical or maintenance management role within manufacturing.
• Proven track record in leading multi-shift technical teams and driving reliability.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, automated machinery, and process optimisation.
• Experience with data-driven problem solving (RCA) and Lean/CI methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance programmes across production and packaging machinery.
• Lead and develop a high-performing technical team across shifts.
• Plan budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) and allocate resources to meet production needs.
• Lead capital projects, equipment upgrades, and RCAs across platforms.
• Utilise CMMS data and downtime analytics to improve MTBF/MTTR and drive CI.
