Job summary

Qualifications

• Substantial technical-management or design-coordination experience in Irish residential development.
• Practical knowledge of multidisciplinary design coordination, drawing control, specifications and construction sequencing.
• Working knowledge of Irish building-control processes and BCMS documentation.
• Experience managing external consultants, design programmes, and design meetings.
• Ability to interpret technical information and communicate risks to multiple teams.
• Strong leadership, planning, document-control and mentoring capability.
• Awareness that jurisdiction-specific certification requires input from competent persons.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the technical department's workload across live and pre-construction developments.
• Coordinate design information, specifications and controlled issue.
• Coordinate planning, building regulations compliance and warranty inputs with specialists.
• Manage consultant appointments and monitor performance against design programmes.
• Ensure design-team meetings have clear agendas and tracked actions.
• Support site teams by coordinating responses to technical queries.
• Develop Technical Coordinators through mentoring and coaching.
• Align department schedule with construction programmes.
