Job summary

Elastic is seeking a tech lead for the Agent Framework team in Ireland. You will own the architecture and set the technical direction for Elastic’s agent layer, driving decisions to support the Streams model.

You will guide the team, conduct reviews, and engage stakeholders to prioritize features. The role requires deep expertise in observability, Go, and distributed systems, with a track record of leading large initiatives across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical lead or principal engineer.
• Deep knowledge of observability data collection: metrics, logs, traces.
• Experience leading architecture reviews and driving decisions.
• Strong Go experience in agent/frameworks or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture for the agent framework and its evolution.
• Provide technical guidance and lead code reviews and best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to prioritize features and requirements.
• Coordinate multi-team initiatives across distributed deployments.
