Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) invites applications for a Team Leader position at our Grangebeg Community. This permanent, full-time role leads a dedicated team delivering person-centred care across residential and day services.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 7 qualification in social care, have strong management experience, and a track record of supporting vulnerable adults. Garda Vetting and police clearance are required; a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 7 QQI Framework qualification (BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent).
• At least 2 years management experience at a similar level.
• 3 years experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Understanding of current policy and developments in Social Care within disability services.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Proficient IT skills: MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• Full driver's licence.
• Post is subject to Garda Vetting and Police clearance and reference checks.

Team Leader, Grangebeg

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Grangebeg Community.

Job Title: Team Leader

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Fulltime (40 hours per week)

Salary: €47,395- €56,349 per annum

What you will need:

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
• At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility.
• Have 3 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
• A full driver's licence is an essential requirement.
