Job summary

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) is recruiting for a Social Care Worker in Dunshane, Co Kildare. This permanent, full-time position offers a salary of €39,088 - €56,349 per annum and the opportunity to work within a committed team at a leading national organisation.

We welcome applicants with QQI Level 7 or BA in Social Care, CORU registration in progress, and relevant experience with vulnerable adults or disabilities.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
• CORU registration or proof application is in progress
• Have 1 year’s experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities
• Understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services
• Ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the development of plans and methods to meet ongoing needs
• Effective interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
• Full driving licence and own car are essential

Camphill Communities of Ireland (CCoI) supports people with physical/intellectual disabilities and autism. CCoI operates Residential and Day Services across 15 locations, in which residents and day-attendees are supported to live an ordinary life, a life like any other.

We are currently recruiting for Social Care Workers to join our team in Dunshane, Co Kildare.

€39,088 - €56,349 per annum

What you will need:
