Job summary

PwC Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager to shape, design, and deliver technology-enabled tax transformation across multiple tax domains. You will lead end-to-end delivery, mentor teams, and build trusted client relationships within PwC’s global network.

You will combine tax domain knowledge with cutting-edge technology, gaining hands-on exposure to agentic AI, automation, cloud data platforms, and workflow technologies in a collaborative environment across industries.

Qualifications

• Experience in tax technology, finance transformation, or technology-enabled change within a consulting, Big Four, corporate, or similar environment.
• Ability to translate complex tax and business requirements into clear functional/technical designs and guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on experience with ERP tax processes and tax engines or specialist applications.

Responsibilities

• Defining tax technology roadmaps aligned to enterprise operating models, data strategies, and control frameworks across direct tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
• Designing and implementing AI/ML, automation, data extraction, transformation and analytics to modernise compliance and tax workflow management.
• Deploying market-leading tax platforms, PwC hosted SaaS solutions, and integrating tax engines as appropriate.
• Optimising ERP tax processes and data models (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365) for data flows to tax engines and reporting.
• Leading end-to-end delivery across scoping, design, build, testing, integration, change management, and user adoption, mentoring teams.
• Building trusted relationships across client stakeholder groups and PwC global network.
• Supporting go-to-market initiatives, contributing to proposals and thought leadership, and monitoring regulatory change.
