PwC Ireland is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager in Tax Risk & Controversy. You will lead and execute strategies around Revenue interventions, disclosures and settlements, while coaching junior staff and driving value for clients. The role emphasizes upskilling and leveraging digital transformation across tax risk domains.

The position offers exposure to a dynamic, high‑growth area within Tax and opportunities to broaden expertise across Tax Risk & Controversy in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in Revenue or big‑4/mid‑tier practice.
• Tax or Accountancy qualification with a strong academic record.
• Ability to direct and drive multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Revenue intervention processes and liaise with Revenue.
• Perform pre‑audit testing and reviews across tax heads.
• Assist in preparing Qualifying Disclosures.
• Engage with Revenue to agree settlements and penalties.
• Advise clients on rights, powers and strategy in Revenue matters.
• Assess client tax controls and support Tax Control Frameworks.
• Coach team members and promote a learning culture.
• Attract, develop and retain talent within the firm.
