Job summary

A&L Goodbody LLP is seeking an experienced Tax Lawyer for the Dublin team. The role welcomes expressions of interest from NQ to 5 years PQE candidates with a professional tax qualification and a strong corporate tax background.

The Tax group advises on cross-border planning, M&A, IPOs, tax controversy and capital markets for leading Irish corporates and financial institutions. The team values career development and a collaborative work culture.

Qualifications

• NQ to 5 years PQE in corporate law with a tax focus.
• Qualified lawyer with a professional tax/accounting qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• International tax and cross-border planning for corporate restructurings, and inward investment into Ireland.
• Mergers, acquisitions, demergers and IPOs.
• Tax controversy and disputes.
• Capital markets and structured finance transactions.
• Private equity transactions.
• Transfer pricing.
• Asset and project finance for international and domestic aircraft and equipment.
