Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Senior Manager or Director to join a Big 4 Aviation Finance & Leasing tax team. You will advise on cross-border structuring, leasing transactions, withholding tax, and tax treatment of aircraft trading and financing across multiple jurisdictions.

It's technical, high-profile work with direct exposure to global clients from day one, with a clear path to Partner for the right candidate and a hybrid Dublin 2 location.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent certification essential.
• Strong corporate tax background in aviation, leasing or structured finance.
• Comfortable managing client relationships at senior levels.
• Genuine interest in international tax and cross-border structuring.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-border tax advice for aircraft leasing and financing.
• Develop junior team members and contribute to winning new work.
• Manage client relationships at Senior Manager/Director level, with input toward Partner.

Ireland leases more commercial aircraft than any other country in the world and this is a genuine opportunity to sit at the centre of that market. I'm working with a Big 4 firm in Dublin 2 who are hiring into their Aviation Finance & Leasing tax team at Senior Manager or Director level.

You'll advise some of the world's largest aircraft lessors and financiers on cross-border structuring, leasing transactions, withholding tax, and the tax treatment of aircraft trading and financing across multiple jurisdictions. It's technical, high-profile work, with direct exposure to global clients from day one.

At this level, it's not just delivery you'll have real input into how the practice grows: leading transactions, developing junior team members, and getting involved in winning new work. For the right candidate, there's a clear route to Partner.

What you'll need:

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
• Strong corporate tax background aviation, leasing, or structured finance experience a strong advantage
• Comfortable owning client relationships at Senior Manager/Director level
• Genuine interest in international tax and cross-border structuring
