Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Tax Director in Athlone, located in the Midlands. You will lead a diverse portfolio of clients including SMEs, multinationals, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering expert tax advice on corporate structures, M&A, succession planning, tax compliance, and cross-border taxation.

You will mentor and empower a dedicated tax team, drive business development, and shape the strategic direction of the tax department, with flexible hybrid working and ongoing

Qualifications

• CTA is essential for the role.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a senior tax management or director role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop relationships with an international portfolio of clients (SMEs, multinationals, HNWIs).
• Deliver expert tax advice on corporate structures, M&A, succession planning, and cross-border taxation.
• Drive business development and contribute to the tax department's strategic direction.
