Job summary

Barden | B Corp is seeking a Tax Director to lead complex advisory, planning and compliance for a varied high-value client portfolio in Ireland. You will partner with senior leadership to drive growth, provide technical guidance on Irish tax rules, manage major assignments including restructurings, and build long-term client relationships.

The role requires strong leadership, mentoring and communication with Revenue and regulators, staying ahead of tax changes to deliver commercially focused

Qualifications

• Proven senior management or director experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax within a professional practice.
• Broad sector experience with ability to adapt technical tax knowledge to varied contexts.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Irish tax legislation and ability to apply complex rules.
• Experience leading teams, managing multiple engagements, mentoring juniors.

About the person

• Proven experience in Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax within a professional practice environment at a senior management or director level.
• Broad experience working with clients across multiple sectors, with the ability to adapt technical expertise to varied business contexts
• Strong and up-to-date technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply complex tax rules effectively.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct detailed research into complex areas of tax law and develop practical, commercially focused solutions.
• Experience leading teams, managing multiple engagements, and mentoring junior colleagues to achieve high standards of performance and client service.
• Strong relationship management skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality advice and building long-term client partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
