The Position

We are seeking a motivated graduate or early-career professional to join our growing Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credits & Incentives team in Dublin.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a Science, Engineering or Technology graduate to develop a unique career at the intersection of innovation, technology and tax advisory. You will work with a broad range of innovative companies, helping them identify qualifying R&D activities and prepare claims under Ireland's R&D Tax Credit regime.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of R&D Tax Credit claims.
• Interview client technical personnel to understand research and development activities.
• Analyse projects to determine eligibility under R&D Tax Credit legislation.
• Draft technical reports outlining qualifying R&D activities.
• Review project documentation, specifications and supporting evidence.
• Assist with the collection and analysis of financial expenditure related to R&D projects.
• Support client meetings and project management activities.
• Conduct research into relevant technologies, scientific developments and industry trends.
• Collaborate with tax specialists and senior team members to deliver high-quality client service.
• Maintain awareness of changes in R&D Tax Credit legislation and Revenue guidance.

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Technology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and an interest in innovation and business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior internship, placement or industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• An interest in building a long-term career in professional services and advisory.
