Job summary

SpaceX in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Tax Analyst for International matters. The role focuses on US and local country tax compliance for SpaceX subsidiaries as we expand Starlink globally.

You will join the international tax team in Dublin, collaborating with operations, legal, and finance to ensure tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and support audits and ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax.
• 2+ years tax experience in public accounting or multinational firms.
• Experience with e-invoicing and VAT/GST concepts.
• Knowledge of indirect tax for digital services and satellite hardware.
• Familiarity with transfer pricing.
• Proficiency in data analytics, Excel, OneSource, Alteryx, and SQL.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.
• French or Portuguese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

TAX ANALYST, INTERNATIONAL

SpaceX is seeking to add a tax analyst to work on U.S. and local country tax matters for SpaceX subsidiaries worldwide as we expand our Starlink business. The tax analyst will be part of the international tax team located in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Data preparation and coordination with external service providers for preparation of both direct and indirect tax returns, as well as month-end financial reporting activities
• Ensure that existing jurisdictions in which Starlink has operations are compliant with local tax requirements and e-invoicing requirements
• Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams (operations, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, finance) and other stakeholders to build a strong network across these departments and with external resources to ensure compliance with local legislation
• Coordinate tax payments, including monitoring payment dates, calculating correct payment amounts, and ensuring payments are properly recorded in the books
• Assist with maintaining tax records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer pricing documentation
• Assist with notices/audits received from various taxing authorities
• Provide support as needed on ad hoc projects

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational corporation

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or tax
• Prior experience at Big 4 accounting firm or multinational companies
• Understanding of e-invoicing requirements and VAT/GST
• Demonstrated understanding of indirect tax compliance for digital services, satellite communications, or imported hardware in multiple jurisdictions
• Familiarity with transfer pricing
• Data analytics skills, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, OneSource, Alteryx, and SQL
• Detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in work processes
• Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as well as independently
• French or Portuguese is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work extended hours and weekend when needed to meet critical deadlines
• This position is based in Dublin, Ireland and requires being onsite - remote or hybrid work will not be considered
