Job summary

Griffdon Engineering is expanding and seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract, engage and hire talent for projects across Ireland and mainland Europe. You will work directly with senior leadership, influence hiring decisions and shape the growth of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.

You will build talent pipelines across multiple disciplines, screen CVs, coordinate interviews and mentor hiring managers, while partnering with external recruiters as needed and contributing to

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing.
• Direct sourcing with LinkedIn Recruiter and similar tools.
• Experience recruiting across Ireland, the UK or mainland Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across professional, technical and site-based positions.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, job boards and direct approaches.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future project requirements.
• Screen CVs and conduct initial candidate assessments.
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications.
• Work closely with Directors and hiring managers to understand workforce requirements.
• Manage relationships with external recruitment partners when required.
• Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns.
• Maintain candidate databases and recruitment reporting.
• Assist with workforce planning activities across multiple projects and regions.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing experience.
• Strong direct sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other candidate attraction tools.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to recruitment.
• Construction, engineering, manufacturing or technical recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting across Ireland, the UK or mainland Europe.
• Experience within an agency recruitment environment.
• Knowledge of workforce planning or resource management.
